Hope we have a Landry and OBJ as solid WR's and a third new guy that outshines them all.

The offense should be much improved next year if the OL can stay healthy.

I say should because our offense SHOULD have been better this year than it was even with the injuries. Who would have thought the WR's would play like they belong in middle school the first part of the season?

And the veteran DB's played worse than they did the year before! Every year there are surprises. I don't think it is possible to correctly predict the next season without it being luck.

So I will wait with my fingers crossed and hope that Mett starts playing like he did before he came to LSU again. Maybe if we can pass block next year AND pick up RB's can pick up a blitz we will be scary on offense again.

All I can tell you is that every season for the last decade plus we've had a go-to #1 receiver who was big and fast and clutch. We didn't have that this year, and I don't see us having one next year. It's a must for this kind of offense, IMO.

One of the most talented TE's in the country. Has amazing hands and overall receiving ability. No way they'll keep him off the field next year. He's that good. Landry and Beckham started over several receivers their true freshman year. Every year several starters are true freshman. Smith might not be in blocking situations much. But he will get receiving opportunities next year.
