Perriloux! The loss caused JL to play earlier than planned and that season killed the one we knew as Lesticles and now we have just plain Les.

Only because the offense has been a problem since 07. TM7 is my favorite tiger to ever watch play though.

Great question, I sure would have liked to see RP start for an entire season especially with the skill players we had at the time. But I think the TM7 suspension hurt the most because it put a true freshman at the corner. Having experience at the corners this year would have made a big difference in my opinion not to mention the leadership and excitement TM7 brought to the team.

Not close.

With him as QB our poor D is off the field much more and not exposed as they were.

Matthieu......he was a proven game changer. Rp played some complete games, but didn't have the reigns enough for us to truly know if he was a champion. All we know is we would have been better on offense.

Unless the NCAA let him stick around for 7 years, pretty sure it's Mathieu.

RP wrecked the 2008 season, ruined JLee for about 2 years, and quite possibly wrecked Les Miles psyche and the LSU offense for good.

Even though I'm convinced TM7=championship in 2012, Periloux had a more wide reaching and long lasting negative effect on the program as a whole.

Losing Perriloux transformed a team with a chance to build a dynasty into a middle of the pack team in their own division. With Perriloux, 10-2 (nothing was going to fix that defense), without, 7-5. Losing that retarded QB sent the program on a 4 year roller coaster ride at the QB position from which it has NEVER recovered.
