Mississippi State is declining. They peaked back in 2010 going 9-4 and proved this year that even in what was set to be their best year ever (7-0 start), they weren't ready to play on the big stage.

Texas A&M has multiple 1st-rounders on the O-line, good WRs and Manziel and they still finished behind LSU. Those players can all improve next year, but the O-linemen are gone, and without them that offense isn't going to keep rolling.

MSU has no chance to pull ahead in the West; TAMU might finish higher next year, but on the whole is still a step below LSU.

Auburn and Ole Miss probably pass us next year as well. We'll be celebrating the Independence Bowl 3 years from now with Steve Ensminger as interim coach, especially with recruiting falling apart the way it is...

Ags- very soon... if they beat us in Tiger Stadium in 2013, they're going to have the upper hand for a while.

State will always be second fiddle to LSU.

A&M will be a pain, but you're trolling with your talk of Miss State.

A&M and Miss State are middle of the road programs playing good football right now. We are a traditional power house coming of the best year in school history (even if you don't ignore the last game) and a average season.

LSU will always be 1 or 2 in the west there could be a year where MSU or aTm has a great year and we have an off year, but they won't be consistently better then us. We will be.
