i haven't read all of this thread and i know a lot of people will hate him more than they hated andre drummond
but
teams like the hornets have to gamble on players like cousins to become elite

I'd love to have Cousins as long as he doesn't choke out Monty Williams. I don't think people realize just how great Cousins and Davis would be together. You would have a legit post presence, a couple of shooters, an athletic 4 who can space the floor.
We would be a SF away from being a top 6 seed in the west.

I'm surprised at all the Cousins love. To me he seems like inefficient stat padder on a bad team. He has never shot over 45% and for a big that is horrendous. I wouldn't be upset if the Hornets gave up the first round pick and filler for him, because I don't think we will be in position to draft Shabazz, but much more and the risk starts to outweigh the reward.

Why would the Kings do that? They are already going to have a lottery pick and they have a bunch of cap room. I don't get it..
