No, you can play more than that if you are at HS with the JR attached like UHigh is. But you have to follow the same eligibility rules as HS. So if it's your first year there, you have to sit out.

I'm confident that 4 years under the UHigh staff will give him plenty of opportunity to display his talent, on either side of the ball. There was no need to forfeit any games this season just to get him on the field.

Correct. He would at least have played JV (circumvents the first year at school rule) this year, but he's in 8th grade not 9th.
