I wonder if the coaches told Faulk that he maybe in an open competition if he returned.
Although i doubt it. Just reaching to see if maybe someof the younger guys had came along well enough to challeneg him for that starting role?
I think we will be fine considering he didnt play but in a few games this past year. I dont feel bad becuase he wasnt here making an impact anyways.

I call BS on some of the posts here!
I don't care what anyone says, this is not 'normal' or 'typical' for any program.
Why is that all of a sudden we have at least 10 juniors leave when prior to now we've never had more than 3? The world of pro ball hasn't had a monumental shift this season that would cause only LSU juniors to all of a sudden turn pro.
No it's far deeper than that. These kids have seen the debacle that has ensued sine January 2012 and have had enough. They probably feel its not worth risking their NFL careers for the awful embarrassing offensive team we've become when it's clear to them we will not be truly competing again until coaching changes are made. I would feel the same way in their shoes and want to move on.
This will serve only to further embarrass the Tiger nation when so much talent walks away leaving the rest to start over. Think about it, almost the entire junior and senior classes will be gone. This have never happened before and we'll be lucky to go 6-6 next season.
