Normally I say some kind of poodle mix, but I made a resolution to be more angry and grumpy this year. So I must take a new route in this. You should not get a dog at all. If you are too much of a lazy arse to properly groom a dog, then you are probably an arse hat that's not going to care for the dog period. The dog will most likely end up in a shelter or worse from your incompentence. So in closing, stay away from animals.

1) I dont mind grooming the dog at all just would like one that doesn't shed much. 2) Im being picky because I want the right dog that I want. 3) I never said anything about not grooming it so GTFO 4) I live in a small apartment so size means alot to me.

Check these guys out. An older Vizsla who needs rescuing may be the ticket. Great companion dogs. They tend to stick real close to the owner. They're nicknamed "The velcro dog" for that reason. Their available dogs are on their Facebook site. Tampa Vizsla Rescue

Miniature (not toy) poodle. Poodles are the second smartest breed after the Border Collie.

You're being picky because you want a dog that requires 0 effort to take care of. News flash: they don't exist

You should honestly take some more time to research and think about this, you don't sound very ready to have a dog. Also, definitely don't get that 5 year old dog that isn't even house training, it will shite all over your tiny apartment. We've had 2 Boston terriers and they are the lowest maintenance dogs I've ever been around. The guy sleeps 20hrs a day, was house trained in 2 weeks, and never barks. Great dogs if trained properly.
