The off line stunk. Never mind the play calling we need a off line coach. Stud has sucked foe years.

It was actually pretty encouraging considering we had 3 new line starters. However, they took a big step back in the bowl game

I hate to give excuses but we did have a lot of injuries. That being said, some of them played awful on monday

Don't you hate it when 3/5 starters go down on your line?

they sucked before injuries too. Hurst and Williford were terrible.

We got beat all night long with only two guys rushing. Stud is the worst coach we have had since Lou Tepper. To have him as our offensive coordinator is, well, offensive.

Faulk going down was the most devastating of all the injuries on the team.

Injuries and freshmen on the line: hard to stand out under those circumstances. It's rare for freshman to step in from game one and become dominant o-line players—it just doesn't seem to work the way it does for RB's, receivers and so forth. So it's no surprise there were up-and-down performances by the underclassmen. You just hop they improve over time, quickly but steadily. Stating the obvious, but ... Bama is the gold standard for o-line recruitment and development; that's where our program needs to be.

It really was. The team lost 3 starters on the line, including arguably the team's best offensive player (actually, it was a toss up between Faulk and Blue, who we also lost). The freshmen played like freshmen -- occassionally great, but pretty inconsistent. But man, Vadal had his lunch eaten in the Peach Bowl. That was a pretty terrible game from him.

I think the o-line got progressively better as the season went on as we found some sort of stability, but Vadal did take a giant step back in the bowl game.

Only thing was, when Blue went down, we saw the emergence of Jeremy Hill. The same can't be said for Faulk's backup.

It is bad that they have played so damn bad the last three years but even worse that they have been hyped as being so good.

Stud is not a good coach to begin with and treats his players with kid gloves.

I hop he gets fired. Miles will encourage him to seek employment elsewhere....I hope. Tough to consider logic when dealing with someone as aloof as Les Miles.

So very disappointed in Miles....
