That LSU lost to an ACC team. Last time was '55, versus Maryland. A real distinction, Coach Miles.
eta: Maybe it is the first time LSU lost to an ACC team in a Bowl. Not sure. If that's the case, sorry for leaving that detail off - got it off of ESPN.

I remember losing to Florida State a number of times. Of course they were probably not in the ACC at the time but this seems really like splitting hairs. Enough of the hurt feelings already.

I thought it was 03? Anyway, seems like splitting hairs. LSU destroyed VT in 2007 and they were an ACC team then.
