Apparently they are targeting Iago Aspas from Celta Vigo... He would be a Michu-esque steal from La Liga... but would cost a bit more...
Interesting. Dont know much about the guy. It would be nice to have a pacey striker up there to complement the big target poacher that Michu is.

Acquiring Holtby without the intent to play him as a CAM would certainly be puzzling. Good move for him as I believe his mother (?) is English. Could have played for England, but elected to play for Germany.

English father, hence the Anglo last name. He's always mentioned wanting to play in the EPL. Either te guardian or the independent, can't remember, are reporting that it's now down to arsenal or spurs.

PRAISE ALLAH! Chamakh to West Ham!
He and Joe Cole will lead them out of the relegation zone.

sweet, would love it if this + squid and arshavin (nothing against the little russian, but wenger obviously doesn't want to play him)are gone = a ton of wasted wages back in the bank.

After giving it some thought, I think he should go to either Arsenal or Everton. Moyes is a good coach and I think he would fit in well.

We've been trying to dump squid the past 3 transfer windows. Doesn't seem likely. Arshavin and djourou are done at Arsenal. Arsene said some shut about not signing anyone until Theo re-signs which is dumb and hopefully not true. Would be nice to get marquee reinforcements before Man City.

i would like that as well, but i've always been under the impression that everton has a considerably smaller wage bill than the "big" clubs in england. i dont know if this perceived lack of ambition will effect his judgement

Oops my mistake. Meant keep. Clearly I was more focused on the offloading chamakh part... might be a loan though :/

kiessling is single handedly keeping leverkusen in the title "race", i would be pretty surprised if they sold him to west ham. no disrespect

SSN is reporting that several Serie A clubs are interesting in Lamppost.

Djourou confirms Hannover loan with no option to buy
I liked him as a 4th choice CB, but whatever we used him for cup ties so it's not a big deal and we made some wage room.
