Always a team guy and a great tiger.

I'm happy for RM.
Wife went to school with his brother, keep up with him through her Facebook.
Dudes been putting in work, he deserves it.

Yet another LSU tiger in the nfl that never got to reach his potential at LSU.

Multiple knee injuries will do that.

Injuries tend to do that to players Paul.

Not really, pre injury did you find that he was utilized properly. I didn't.

what exactly would have been his "proper" use before the 2nd injury? we had two 1,000 yd rushers his 1st couple yrs, and Keiland as well.

I can think of two backs in past 6 years that most would agree have been utilized properly.
Jacob Hester
Jeremy hill
When you're 3-4-5 deep, that happens.

I'm simply not a fan of the 5 back deep system. I guess I'm stuck in the 90's.
Look how Bama utilized Ingram, Upchurch and Richardson. Same way they're using Lacy and Yeldon.

Well to be fair, we use only 2 backs the majority of the carries. We just have incredible depth at that position. How many times did you see Hilliard get the ball late in the season?
Posted on 12/30/12 at 11:15 am to Paul Allen
That is still 2 packs at a time mostly. Richard murphy was 180 pounds and behind Chuck, Keiland and to some extent Ridley who is doing well enough int he NFL i would say.

What??? He was a big contributor before he blew out his knee for the second time of the beginning of the season when he was a junior. In addition, he was in a very talented backfield. Did you expect him to get 20-25 carries per game?
Posted on 12/30/12 at 11:22 am to Tmacelroy12
Exactly. And Hilliard is probably the best back we have.

I like HIlliard a lot but HIll has played really well. I think he looks like our best back right now.
Posted on 12/30/12 at 11:25 am to Paul Allen
Yeah, having better running backs on the roster will do that.
Posted on 12/30/12 at 11:25 am to Paul Allen
we have to give guys like Ware carries or else we would have no one to run into the back of the offensive line

He is.
JH is the biggest and fastest we have.
All the people that used to whine about Les and his loyalty to srs and upperclassman having hard time explaining that one.
