I don't personally like the leather/color. I don't wear Cole Haan though cause they don't have my size.

There's usually a reason why things are on sale and I tend to stick with the classics that do not ever go on sale, but this one seems to be an exception to the rule. The bottom of it is atrocious, however. But it's $37 so it's a steal, barring the bottom, if it's used as a yard shoe.
It just doesn't look as good as the classics. It looks like a sale item but it's so cheap that it's worth $37, imo.

Most people around here don't, so I just refer to them as loafers to make it easy.

Because of the atrocious, trying too hard soles. They are mocs, as someone so aptly pointed out earlier.
Mocs, defined as driving shoes, shouldn´t have that hell bent wanna be sole. Also, too much tone on tone going on, and above all, a mixture of styles which screams ´I don´t know what the frick I want, so I want to be all to everyone´, which means nothing to everyone.
