If you're going to a glacier wedding, you can wear carharts and bean boots.

Well yeah, if the invitation says how to dress, I'm going by that if I plan on attending.

So just to be clear, half the people here say if you don't wear a suit, you're trash. And the other half says if you do wear a suit, you are a sheep to some societal influence, or you are trying to impress people and hide your insecurities?
Shit, I just like wearing a suit sometimes.

Yeah, I can't do a job interview casual. Lots of folks around here don't care how you dress for work though, or even your interview.

I'm in the half that doesn't care if you wear a suit and doesn't care if you dont wear a suit. And it frustrates me when people think there are rules to what you can and can't wear...

I don't know if I'll ever do a full on suit for an interview, but my parents and any school counselors giving advice always said dress up. It would feel wrong to not dress well. I feel more confident dressed up anyway, it helps me in interviews. And I always rock interviews.

I think Cosmo is the only one really calling someone trash for not wearing a suit.
This further supports my claim that Cosmo on tigerdroppings is the villain Mugatu from Zoolander.

Also to continue its not just what you wear.. It's anything. Do Coke for all I care... Just don't do coke and fly an airplane or drive a car because you might hurt others...
It's a screwed up society we live in when we try to police and govern "morals."
