Had a couple courses that weren't accepted(I think were on-line), so has to retake them this semester. If he's doing well mid semester, he will be added...same for Leslie.

We aren't taking two JUCO WR's in at the same time

One of them isn't coming to LSU. I'd bet its Leslie that doesn't show

Leslie is a lot closer than Gardner. And Leslie is a long ways away.

I wouldn't say a lot

Leslie completely dropped the ball from what I read.

Erroneous sir .... If Leslie and Gardner are both eligible they will both be in this class and for that matter I wouldnt be surprised if Vince Mayle gets an offer in the coming weeks if the news on Leslies future doesnt change for the better.

It would be nice if someone could post what these guys actually need to accomplish for them to qualify.

So they both failed classes from the fall semester and it's considered a long shot they will pass the necessary classes (whatever they are) in the upcoming spring semester?

The plan was to take 1 as an EE. We aren't taking 2 of them if they both are coming in the spring.

Gardner is going to gauge his NFL stock. If he doesn't go into the draft, he is a take, all day, every day. He still has some work to do in the classroom.

Leslie's situation is not clear. He was supposed to be an EE, but failed to pass all his classes. He now has to go back to JC in the spring. It is not clear what happens with he and LSU.

Both of these guys are big time WRs with NFL talent(Gardner>Leslie). Just cross your fingers that we have one of these guys on campus in the fall. I highly doubt it will be both.

Here is the latest on Leslie:

Recently, we learned junior college wide receiver Quantavius Leslie did not graduate, as planned, at the end of the fall semester and, as a result, will not sign during the juco signing period. His junior college coaches at Hinds (Miss) were told LSU is sticking with Leslie even though he cannot enroll in the spring semester and go through spring drills as originally planned.

That LSU still has Leslie in its plans was happy news, as they feared Leslie's failure to graduate would make LSU go another direction.

Still, you have to add Leslie to the list of guys who are question marks.

If they do come, it will be in the summer/fall. And we might very well take both if both qualify. The original plan as of a few weeks ago was for Leslie to enroll early, then also take Gardner later if he graduates.

It's been mentioned that Leslie will be taking 3 classes in the spring. That tells me that he completely put off his school work. He's a risk even if he makes it onto campus later on.

I think we'd take both as well and hopefully both get the job done in the classroom. I don't think we need both but I'm not one to say we should turn either away. Could be a big late spring/summer for us if somehow both of these kids and Josh McNeil manage to qualify. Could give our class a major boost especially if we can get all the hs kids qualified. Not betting on all of that coming to fruition but I'd love to see it. Our class is gonna be fantastic regardless but it has a chance to be pretty special while also having the chance to be a little bit of a letdown if kids don't qualify.

I don't understand how someone can not pass JUCO classes... My high school shite was probably harder than whatever these two are taking.

Not show up to class, not turn in assignments. Its a responsibility issue, and a classroom work ethic issue. Its much more likely that neither of these two ever make it to LSU than both.
