Jfk would be a "right wing nut job" to todays dem party.
That's as silly as saying Reagan would be a RINO to today's GOP. The deficit tripled under him, taxes were raised 7 of 8 years, he signed an immigrant amnesty bill and supported the Brady bill. But like JFK (and most of us) the times and circumstances influence our philosophy and stances. I highly doubt that JFK would be different than the rest of his very large family politically speaking.

Still no answer. As long as the R's still have the same agenda, it doesn't matter whose face they use. Get it?

And you'd be right, these young men want to work and the unemployment amount them is at a modern day high. And if history shows nothing else ,it shows more jobs are creAted with a Republican president. I hope I'm wrong and over the next 4 yrs Obama leads us to great things. But I'm afraid if the old Democratic Party does what they do,many young black men, many college educated will be lost. Many of these voters were college grads.

I never said all R's were racist. I'm in a decent position as for as living goes, so I don't understand what you mean by "voting for squalor".

Could have sworn a month or so ago you were whining about providing for your two sons? So you apparently could give a shite less about others of color still chained in squalor by shitty D social programs.

Port city I really feel for you if you truly believe that the Republican Party is racist and wants something bad done to black folks. I'm an independent been since I dropped the Democratic Party in 1990. But I usually vote for the GOP candidate for president. And I k ow many republicans and what these people want is less government in their lives, and for some reason the liberal media has people think this makes them racist. Do you want more government in your life?

I think every child should have an opportunity to better themselves regardless of background. I did ask questions as to why disadvantaged youth are not made aware of the opportunities that do exist. If democratic programs are such a failure, why haven't the R's but forth any better solutions?

What do you mean by "care"? To me , that sounds incredibly condescending and insulting.

How could they, the minute that talk about it they are labeled racist, then people like you who have no substantive reason why you dislike a candidate, use words by others to make an excuse for not voting for a person. The D party has convinced people a meager handout is what helps, now we have a portion of the country hooked on that little check like crack. We advertise how to get your EBT card but not how to better yourself. The Ds don't want to fix this problem, and why should they, it diminishes a voting block they need, to keep people convinced they care about them and the other party of racist and rich white guys want you to die.

I'm pretty sure Alf Landon was a Catholic, and he was the Republican nominee in 1936. ETA-- Nope, he was Methodist.

No port most republicans are give much ally ,like Romney a person that gives much to charities and chruches, far more % wise than most successful dems as we've all seen how much Romney gave compare to Obama and Biden. Who do you think a a lot of this goes to? I assure you they don't say ," Make sure no black folk get any of this". I'm not patting myself on the back cause I didn't have much to do with this, but my family, full of republicans have adopted a family at Christmas fr over twenty yrs and at least 15 were black. Man you need to really research the giving done in America,I think it could open your eyes.im done for tonight. If I don't get back with you ,you have a great new year and may God truly bless you and yours.

My question is still the same. If democratic policies are so bad, and republican ideas are so good. Why don't you guys have a candidate that can articulate them? Republican governors are in charge in 29 states, why hasn't anything changed?
