I've been wanting to take my soon to be 6 y/o with me, but I hunt in the marsh and have a pretty good pirogue paddle to get there. Just a little too dangerous for my liking right now.

I'm with you there. No way i put my 6 year old in a pirogue. We would be wet in 15 seconds!
