In theology, there is an unpardonable sin, an apostasy. Could there have been one, in the past at Ann Harbor?

I think there are a few who could comment on this possibility, I do.

But for now, nobody, in the Big House, nobody is talking. In BR only Cane, da dawg, heard the confession. Cane ain't talkin and despite the Cow-rumor-mongers of Chik Filit...Hait ain't about to break up with Cane....for more than one reason!!
The dude who started this thread deserves one!!

Apparently they offered him 4.25M/year and he said "No", twice (when Rich Rod and Brady Hoke got the jobs).

It will never be an "official" offer because the offers never are unless the coach accepts. Similar to the Arkansas "offer" a month or so ago.

Reality is that many LSU fans don't realize how lucky we are to have a coach that believes we are a destination program. He doesn't want to leave. He wants to continue to build the LSU program, probably until he retires. Not many coaches these days make that decision. From everything I have read from AD interviews, to Miles interviews, to the media; it appears Miles prefers continuity and longevity over the high payday becasue he wants to create at LSU the kind of legacy his mentor created at his alma mater. He's been here 8 years and won 85 games. He's loved by everyone in CFB outside the LSU fanbase, and loved by most of the LSU fanbase as well. He's great publicity for the program, and he's a beast recruiter, and he wants to be at LSU. You can't really ask for more imo.

and go where? Not LSU.

How can you expect to win the SEC when you can't win the Sun Belt, although they should win it next year since all the good teams are leaving for CUSA.

I always thought that Carr downplayed Miles because deep down he, like many coaches, was egotistical and didn't want to be followed by anyone that would outgrow the shadow he cast on the program.

Unpardonable sin?? I have a good friend who at the time mentioned something about an "infidelity" issue but I thought he was full of bull. Are you saying said indiscretions are true??

Hey, just asking a question. Don't have all these inside sources to keep me up on all the ins and outs of anything LSU Football. I did google the subject and found the rumored reasons he is not at UM. Was not aware of those nor do I put any stock in there validity.
