Everything has sort of a sweet and sour taste with the hint of vinegar and sugar in each component. It has a tangy taste, and usually you'll get a glisten of sweat on your forehead when eating it.
The marinade has apple cider vinegar and an array of pickling spices which gives it a very deep flavor.
