So what would the board think of Clerks 3?

The bold was very interesting to me and that would be really cool to see if he could pull that off

He probably could. He's got enough friends that would do him favors upfront and take a cut later knowing that the shite would make money.

Last I heard, he had no plans to do it until they decided to change Hit Somebody into a miniseries. Now he wants Clerks 3 to be his last movie.

Considering I have never seen the original Clerks, and strongly believe Clerks 2 to be a steaming pile of crap, I would not be in favor of a Clerks 3. Kevin Smith is one of the most overrated players in Hollywood.
