I really like the way that gun looks and the price ain't that bad but they're out of stock.
Inventory turns over pretty regularly. Add it to your wishlist and they'll send you an email when it's in stock again

6" Lone Wolf. It was carried almost every day for a year in a Kydex holster. I walked anywhere from 1-15mi a day with it, so that is where the wear comes from Just looked at the Hornady HPs I have in the bag. $21.99 for 20 rounds. My dad has shot it at 100yds. I think he told me he got 8 inch groups or something. All open sights

Link fixed $0.57 per round. May just be good for range

Just what I wanted to hear, and the main reason I went with a 10mm. The one I got is the 20c. It's factory ported so I'm going to hold off on an extended barrel for now, but in all likelihood will cave in and buy one

Only cheap stuff I have found around south LA is Blazer. It is dirty as all hell. After 50 rounds the gun looks like I drug it through the mud. Never seen the Remington UMC or Federal stuff. quote:

Lots of people put scopes on them and sight them in at 100yds. I like shooting open sights like a gangsta though. Same thing with my .30-30

The FBI is stupid for ever abandoning the 10mm in favor of anything other than 357sig

They didn't bypass the .357 sig, which itself grew out of the .40 S&W - the 10mm is very hot for anti-personnel use. The 135gr Corbon .40S&W round will make everything right in the world, trust me. (Although there are some .357 Sig loadings that will make me consider a P229 as my nightstand gun.)

My uncle is a higher-up in the DEA, and told me that all of the ninny little women didn't like the recoil. Something about vacuum cleaners and laundry? Maybe pot roast? Can't remember specifics. He has two 1911 10mm guns that the department paid for when they used them briefly

They need to quit hiring wimpy officers IMO the 357sig is the best semi auto anti personnel round available for a few reasons, but I don't ever see it catching on like the .40 has. I wouldn't feel undergunned with any of them. For hunting though, the 10mm is definitely the king of the roost as long as you don't bring up any magnums.

The 10mm really shines as an alternative to a .41 magnum, and in a semi-auto for game. I still don't want to shoot anything dangerous with a pistol or revolver, unless I have no other choice - if so, I'm leaning towards .50 AE, but I wouldn't feel undergunned with a 10mm (any more than I would with any handgun).

I brought it for hogs/random meth heads/squatches since I was so far from anyone. Never had to shoot anything with it and it wasn't heavy enough to bother me at all. I normally had it loaded with 10rds instead of 16 thoughquote:

Anticipation was worse than the actual kick. After 10 or 20 shots you get used to it

Meh. It's hot - but that's not the problem. The overpenetration is the problem - many of the same things that make a .44 magnum a bad defense round are present in the 10mm - overpenetrates before effective expansion can occur, so the wound channel is too surgical. Still a lot of force imparted, but the better defense loads of .357 magnum and .40S&W (and .357 Sig) will outperform these more powerful, ballistically, rounds in real world shooting situations. The expansion and large wound channel are responsible for both CNS overload AND blood loss.

Why not just load it with more aggressively expanding bullets?

Brilliant idea - S&W beat you to it with the .40S&W (and took some of the unpleasant recoil out, to boot). ETA: In all seriousness, the Federal 357B 125gr .357 magnum round and the Cor-Bon 135gr .40S&W have the best records based on real world shootings. However, in the past 15 years, there have been literally dozens of great cartridges developed for 9mm, .40S&W, .357 SIG, .45 ACP and 10mm. Everyone has to find the correct balance of stopping power, firepower, controllability and accuracy that works for him or her. 1 hit with a .22LR round, from a revolver, is worth any number of misses by a Glock 22.

Yea yea yea But let's put the agressive bullet atop the full power 10mm instead of the .40 short&weak
