BigJ trust me when I say that it's an absolute gamechanger.
If you can afford it grab one!
Ive had mine for 5 years and just recently encountered my first problem, and it was a hardware issue that was resolved & runs like new again. Ill never own anything else. Most people that try them say the same

one more hold up on the air is I know dvd drives are pretty much obsolete now anyway, but I may still need one for my CPA review course

I mean no one can justify its worth to me EXCEPT me. I didn't even rag other brands. But after using them for years and going to the macbook, it's certainly an eye opener.
He can laugh all he wants. The convenience to never worry about viruses or updating virus software or worrying about my computer slowing down. I mean I sit at a desk most of the day as shown by most post count. Every time I click to browse the Internet, it's as fast as it was the last time. It allows me to lay movies & music. I can save pictures, and browse the Internet with no worries for 5 years??? Seriously this machine is amazing and prob the best technological investment of my life.
