A Mossberg Maverick 88 12G shotgun.

Any of you have some opinions on this shotgun?

Decent inexpensive home defense shotgun. I have one that I put a pistol grip and telescoping stock on. Love it.

Not on the shotgun, per se, but the brand. I would never own anything "Mossburg" but that's just me.

I've only owned mossberg shotguns. Never had one problem. My first one, had it for 20 yrs, I've put it through hell. It's killed many a deer.

I shot an 835 for years... it was my first 3.5 inch 12 gauge.

Never had a problem.

My buddy had the same one that the safety would get stuck on, but other than that it was fine. Luckily, it would stick in the "unsafe" position.

mossberg 500 was the first shotgun i bought with my own money that i earned. that was 27 years ago and i still have it and it still shoots just fine. its only used for home defense and a truck gun now. SBE is the meat-getting gun now.
