Funny thing about that showboating, Mr. Announcer. Torres did that exact thing a couple of weeks ago and Moses tried to back heel it in.

Lol at the announcer talking about Stephen Ireland winning the player of te year award last year and being so highly regarded by the fans. We had to give it to someone.

Dont think he was planning on shooting that as the announcer says, took a heavy touch of his chest and no choice but to hit it. Nice shot though, Lamps has always killed us.

Was meant for John Gregory (the announcer), not you.

They were successes, and due to the nature of the competition, those things happen.

During SAF's tenure, they have had one player who could realistically be considered to be the best player in the world, and we all know where he ended up.

They can't consistently compete for the world's absolute best players, and it's unfair to expect them to perform to the standards of team that can.

Are you trying to say they´re comparable to the Villareals of the world?

Stop making excuses. They are considered top tier, and manage a heavy wage budget.

Dandy, I don't like United either, but I would never say that SAF is bitter for his lack of European success. Not sure what the point your trying to make is.

well, he certainly isn´t on account of his PL tally sheet, is he?

Has he had tragedies in his life or something?

No, what I meant was that only three, arguably four, teams have had more Champions League success over the past ~25 years. That's hardly a lack of success.

I'm trying to say that Manchester United isn't comparable to the Real Madrids of the world, and those are the only types of teams that have performed better over the period in question.
