I've only had a few incremental increases (the kind I used to get almost every year) in my premiums in the four years since Obamacare was passed. I keep hearing that the doom and gloom is just around the corner but it hasn't shown up yet. Has it occurred to you Chicken Littles that someone is feeding you lies?

In fact, with individuals forced to buy insurance, health industry profits may even increase in the short term.
However as I've said many times, Obamacare has little to do with addressing cost or quality of US medicine. It is an effort to kill private insurance. Once done, and with Medicaid as a single payer monopoly, companies like yours will be squarely in harm's way.

How do you purchase your health insurance? If you are part of an employers group plan the changes aren't so dramatic as different underwriting rules apply. These increases apply specifically to people who purchase individual policies. And they are increases that are projected for 2014, so you couldn't possibly have experienced them.
Maybe if you actually understood what was written you'd re-think who has been lying to you, but your cluelessness about not having paid future increases doesn't give me hope you have the reasoning skills to recognize the truth.

i knew it! just dont understand why my hot but dumb female lady friend thinks obamacare is a good idea. she told me basic economics wouldnt allow for premiums to go up.

As someone who signs the Blue Cross check for my company - for the past 6 years my company's premium has gone up an average of 20% per year-120% increase over that time period. The expert works for a health insurance company - who seems to like the status quo of the past 6 years. We have universal care now and always have - we just have the most inefficient and costliest system in the first world. Lets see, families going to docs in a box rather than emergency rooms for primary care will cost less or more? Adding to the number of people/companies contributing to the pot will increase or decrease cost to my company? I am tired of subsidizing the health care of those lazy arse Walton women's employees. Tired of subsidizing the healthcare of all the big box store shareholders. Charge me a little more for my 96 pack of Diet Coke and quit expecting me to subsidize your parasitic business model. We pay 2.66 Billion to Walmart employees in food stamps and medicaid. Wise up.

I call bs on your small increases. I have a 2500 deductible and still got hit with a 14% increase followed by a 17% increase.
