Remember Limbaugh made racially stereotypical remarks about McNabb and African-Anerican qbs

which remarks, exactly?

what stereotypical remarks did he make about black QBs?

If anybody makes a racist statement, it's Steve Young

and Michael Irvin agrees with him

Also have to give Parker leeway because he's African-American.

this makes no sense

I've honestly never heard of Rob Parker. But I do think it's funny/sad that the likes of a Stephen A. Smith can say "nigga please" on the air and basically not even get reprimanded.

Can you imagine the outrage if Mike and Mike criticized a white athlete for marrying a black woman. WOW

"I hear he listens to DMX, voted for Obama and married a black woman. At the end of the day, when it's all said and done he's not a real honky, he's a charcoal honky."

Although I'm fine with a double standard if it leads to Mike and Mike being fired.

I think McNabb was a very good, above-average QB for a time in the league. Top 5-7 even (if not higher). So I don't really agree with what RL was saying about him not being that good. However, that's actually the first time I think I've seen the actual clip of what RL said, and the last thing that it comes off as is racist.

well in 2003 when these comments were made, mcnabb's completion rate/ypa/QB rating were as follows:

1999: 49.1 / 4.39 / 60.1
2000: 58.0 / 5.91 / 77.8
2001: 57.8 / 6.56 / 84.3
2002: 58.4 / 6.34 / 86.0
2003: 57.5 / 6.73 / 79.6

He is saying that Rob Parker thinks black people should be thugs, not smart, wear pants on the ground, and be raised by single parents.

I'm surprised my first bar fight with an NFL player didn't include him. I was HAMMERED and went right up to him and started yelling "CHUNKY SOUP" at the top of my lungs!!!!!! He wasn't amused and even though he is a BIG arse dude in person he didn't say shite!

Limbaugh's 30 days has been up.

Limbaugh resigned, he wasn't fired. He couldn't stand the heat so he got out of the kitchen.

EDIT: If he truly had the courage of his convictions, he wouldn't have given ESPN the satisfaction of resigning, he would have forced them to fire him.

I don't think Rush should have resigned.

Rob Parker was far more inflammatory.

And I just became a bigger RG3 fan because of it (white fiancee, possibly conservative).

on the back of this?

2001 604 yards 2 touchdowns
2002 1,029 yards 5 touchdowns
2003 463 yards 5 touchdowns

Yeah I don't think you ride into the NFC Championship game year in year out on this.

McNabb's top two weapons pre-Owens were James Thrash and Todd Pinkston.

If a white person called RG3 a "cornball brotha" they'd be fired.

I didn't think this was ESPN, but if it was, it's probably the best example here.
