I think I'm starting to lose my hair more. As a new profession( graduated within the past year) I was looking forward to having money to buy more guns and stuff.. Now some of the guns I wanted to get might be outlawed.. Grr

Look at the threads started since Monday. I'd say some folks are stressing.

I'm of this same belief.

I'll wait patiently for the NRA to address the public on Friday. If they tank, I may be a bit concerned.

But the fact that we have a good basis to compare a new AWB ban to (the original one), it gives light of what a new one would do. And the ultimate answer is ---- Absolutely NOTHING. The old law had no effect on crime.

My PMR 30 doubled in value in less than 2 weeks.

But I can't find a bolt carrier group.

Not really. Ignorance is bliss and I am staying ignorant. I pay the NRA to deal with this shite for me.

There will be something, but nothing that doesn't have a ton of loop holes and a sunset provision. Honestly, you are more or less right.

God, I hope it doesn't take a month. I am so ready for it to get back to normal again.

It does seem like I wake up in a funk every day since Friday.

But I'm going to the range tomorrow so my faith will probably be restored.

They will be easier to get if they ban them. All the millions that were sold this week will be stolen from homes and sold cheap for drugs. You need to focus on ammo and get in with some crackheads then profit. "they" thought prohibition was a good idea at one point as well. Now that would cause a civil war, this bs talk about banning guns is played out. It won't happen man. Just wait it out.
Eta- first part was a joke. This place has become obsessed with something that they can not control. Deal with the problem if /when it arises. Until then, just strap in and watch the economy get stimulated.

I want to be in the same boat as a lot of these guys, and I want to wait and see what the NRA rolls out on Friday. Hope we can at least keep that confined to one thread

But if anyone like myself want to be involved and at least feel like they are doing something, I suggest writing your representatives. Going to take a ride to campus tomorrow and plan to write a very direct message stating what I expect from them when and if anything is sent their way.

Oh, I know. I am supposed to go hunting tomorrow morning and only hope that OB order will be restored when I come back. My only fear is that more Political Board people will come over and talk to us because we hunt.

Yes. But it's probably good to remember that things fluctuate. I lived through Bubba Clinton being reelected and his gun ban bullshite. Just gotta plan accordingly. Try not to get carried away with the bullshite but stay vigilant.

I really think they will ban High-capacity magazines.

Without a doubt.

I don't see how anybody can think otherwise.

Same here.

The election was bad enough. Just trying to get by.

Then the shooting. Horrific and I have kids close to the same ages. It's hard to think/read about without associating it.

Then the gun backlash. I feel personally attacked. And the nature of it is SO frickING IGNORANT.

I hate to say it, but yeah, it's a bad time.
