looks good but they are gonna charge a stupid premium for a 15yr barrel proof. be curious to see how it compares to everyone elses favorite 15yr barrel proof;)

I'm sure it'll be at least a 100 bones. Hell, they can charge $150-$200 and it still won't sit on shelves for more than a day.

Fellas, thanks for linking the bourbon blue book. That's gonna be a great resource for me. If yall head down to NOLA, for sure check in with me in the beer thread. I'd love to buy the first round upstairs at Avenue and learn a little more.
I enjoy bourbon, but I'd love to have a more nuanced understanding. In my opinion, the best way to do that is through other people.
Also, I'm not a fan of Rowan's Creek. Saw that posted a few pages ago. Feel free to tell me why I have a poor palate.

Yea seriously. Rowans Creek is an NDP brand (non distilling producer). They basically buy other people's whiskey and call it their own. Some NDPs source good stuff sometimes, sometimes they get what doesnt pass QC from the big boys. Its deceptive to me and every taste i've ever had i didnt like. Jeffersons is probably the highest regarded NDP

I didnt care for the strawgator much. better half likes em but she has always liked andygator and i really dont so that may have something to do with it
