Why? At least evolution is based on scientific research. Creationism has absolutely no base in science.
??? Uh, wrong. There are a lot of scientist that would 100% disagree with you.

Roman mythology is backed by the same amount of science creationism is.

There is absolutely no point in arguing with people that are so entrenched in their ideologies. Why can there be no compromise with you people?

Absolutely. The problem here is that creationism is backed by zero science. Show me one study that was done showing humans were created in one day.

No, it hasn't, but that doesn't make it any less likely. Just because science has not answered every question does not mean we should discredit it. Creationism requires you to blindly believe. Evolution is backed by real data that nearly everyone concedes to be true.

I see, so you actually think the standard should be different? Then step up to the plate and go! I'm all eyes! Start at the beginning and tell me HOW and where the account in genesis is at odds with science (using the term is the broadest way possible).

Please post a credible study that concludes that humans were created in one day by a higher being.

Same logic/test/method/reasoning that applies to your next statement applies to the above.

Think about what you just stated. If you are to use science with the creation account and say that it has not answered all of the question yet, how can you discount the creation account? Just because we do not understand some things YET does not mean it's not truth. That is what you are asking of me. That is the same that you must accept.

Please post a study where science has proven there is not! SAME RULES APPLY.. remember. So instead of posting "maybes", why not stick with what science does know?

Everything that we currently know from science states that light has to come first before life of any kind can be possible... Agreed?

Still waiting for you to post your proof. Stop redirecting and tell us how genesis is in agreement with science.

I have told you that. Take it from chapter 1 and stop at the end of that chapter. It's all in agreement with science.

I think we are asking for peer reviewed scientific studies.

It's pretty rich, actually. You have staunch adherents of science who are unwilling to listen to any other opinions and are convinced their ideology is the only true ideology, and then you have darkhorse, who is basically the same. Science used to be all about acceptance and compromise that theories can never be fully proved. Scientific ideologues have mutilated the true meaning of science. It's the main reason I shied away from the anti-god crowd, for they have created a canned philosophical system of their own.

It's you that's claiming the account to be incorrect. if there are studies showing that wrong, that burden is on you to prove/show. I'm giving you the body of work, the paper. Stop looking at it as the "Bible". Has Science proven the paper wrong? If so post it!

As an engineering student I know exactly why. If you haven't taken a science class in awhile, you might not remember that there is never enough time to cover all the information needed in the course. Furthermore, evolution is so important to biology that if evolution were to be found false, there is almost no way that it is not a fact. It's one of the most widely accepted beliefs in all of science. Finally, to teach creationism in science is just a sham. Religion is not a science. You can teach students to always question science. That is important, but challenge science with science. Religion and science have nothing to say about each other.

Maybe someone can fill me in, but why hasn't the theory of evolution been upgraded to the law of evolution? Honest question. Isn't it a known and accepted fact that organisms pass on traits to their offspring, and over a period of time those traits suited to the environment continue to develop while those that don't fall off?
