just what tiger said, for me he's an B to B+ in run support and C- to D in pass coverage. No DB in the league blitzes as well as he does either. Not elite but if you think he's terrible ya need to watch more games, just IMO.

speaking of DBs, we could have Tracy Porter back on the cheap
Broncos cornerback Tracy Porter hasn’t played in a game since Oct. 7, after he suffered symptoms similar to a previous seizure.

But that’s not what’s keeping him off the field now.

The emergence of cornerback Chris Harris has limited the need to rush Porter back, and has left him frustrated.

According to Jeff Legwold of the Denver Post, Porter posted then deleted some messages on Twitter that expressed his displeasure at his inactivity. He also deleted some photos of himself in Broncos gear that were once on the site.

He got $4mil on a one year show-me contract in Denver. Continuing with the same injury story he had here (or worse) he'll prolly be looking at near vet minimum for 2014.

I'd love to have Porter back! I think he's better than PRob. His only issue is health.

I would too, especially for a cheap deal. He's worth $1mil if you can get 8 solid games out of him

Would like to have Porter back also. Wouldn't expect 16 games out of him nor to be the no#2 CB but his experiance would help add needed depth and competition.

I don't think I'll ever be high on Robinson. Too short and lets recievers get a step on him all too often. He kind of reminds me of Jason David.

I think Cam Jordan is going to pan out nicely after a rough first year. Vilma's still got some juice. Jenkins is starting to justify all the hype the way he should have last year.

I've heard talk that Jones or T'eo could slip to our projected slot. I'd like to see how we could work in Mingo somehow, whether it be OLB or DE or Saftey. This dude could probably play any position outside of DT.

you're prolly in a small minority of anyone who thinks that around here. I dunno if he has a future here beyond '13 myself.

I brought Teo in the draft talk thread without any response. Lofton is entrenched at MLB but if he can project SLB then it might be a BPA to move on. Not my preference but I could see the scenario happening. Some direct Mingo stuff in that thread too.

Robinson is almost 6' and 200 pounds and runs a sub 4.5 forty. He's an above size corner...I don't get how some of these stupid statements make it on here.

Ideal CB height in the NFL is 6'1", and I don't care how fast he runs in underwear, dude gets burned often. He comes up with an interception or knock-down ever once and so often, but I don't think it's worth the trade off

Your argument was that he reminded you of Jason David dingle berry, don't try and spin this. JD was 5'7", the average size of a cornerback in the NFL is 5'11 and 190. PR is 5'11 and 3/4 and 200# and runs a 4.4 40. He's had a tough year but I hate when people just make shite up.

We've drafted heavily for our secondary to no avail. I say give our D-line some picks for a couple years and see how it turns out.

My honest opinion is that a difference maker at pass rusher would make the secondary look infinitely better.

This would only hide the problem and only on obvious passing downs.

The young DBs are horribile in coverage. The touchdown pass to Austin at the end of last weeks game is a great example. The DB never rotated his hips to turn with the reciever. If he had he may have been able to make a play on the ball as it was under thrown.
