This thread is wayyyyy to long to find out any info unless you get lucky. Where can I look up and research ptac stuff?

Stay away from Ptac. Is it PSA's non-milspec product line. Cheap as frick but it is hit or miss with quality

If you want a complete rifle under 600 get a s&w sport if you want to spend about the same but get better, get PSA premium stuff. You just gotta wait for sales.
