How much $ and effort to change out the hand guards with Magpul rails?

It would cost whatever the price of the Magpul handguards are + shipping. Not too much effort, I guess. I'm pretty sure the Magpul ones use the delta ring the same way the stock ones do.

I have a magpul carbine hand guard on mine. Paid $32 with free shipping and it literally took less than 5 minutes to install. It fits in the delta ring

Yeah, the guy got back to me and asked for a pic, which I sent but still haven't gotten a response. Hope they get back to me soon.

I just bought a complete upper from J&T distributing, they are on back order. I'll get it when i get it. 16" flat top Chrome lined 1x9, mid length, magpul MOE handguards.

Yeah, i've seen a lot of good reviews. I bought a stripped lower from them that's just been in a box, haven't built it out yet. I just called them about uppers, she said call back in april... so... probably same story about lowers.
