I will come here and admit I have now Idea what a "150" class means.
I get the points but not the 140,150,160 stuff.
Ridicule if you want, but at least I am trying to learn.

150 class means he's banged 150 does in his lifetime. They measure semen leftover in ball sack.

Total inches of antler. Measure each beam length, spread, each time length, and a few circumference measurements and that gives you total inches. In most people's opinion, the higher the number the better.

140, 150, 160 etc. is referring to the inches of horns the deer has. There are a lot of people that need to learn how to score a deer before they claim it is a certain size.

Can you explain that a bit more. Is that the length from nose to back hoofs?

Total inches of antlers once they are all measured like the link mylsuhat posted for you.

I series of measurements that add up to a total score measurement in inches.

Ok,this make sense. So the higher the number the better the buck. It is a way to compare deer with the same number of points.

Then maybe I don't. I assumed points meant the amount of points in the rack.

Right. 150 class could be an 8 pt or a 12 pt.

Some think if you can put a ring on it, it's a point. Others like Alx think otherwise.
