Going by what I have seen from Cousins, looks like they would. shite San Francisco benched their starter during an injury, would there be any chance that Washington does the same?

No. RG3 is a money maker. The Redskins have what you call trade bait.

didn't know there was a standard set that I had to adhere to.

Not close, they have what every team wants. A great starter with a serviceable backup that they could possibly trade for picks in a year or two.

Kirk is a poor man's Tom Brady who will make a great backup and a borderline starter, like Flynn. He had some brain farts in college and gets criticized for a bit of a noodle arm, but is overall accurate and a great leader.

No way in hell. RG3 is the starter. Kirk Cousins is a great asset on the bench given RG3's playing style. Figure after next season they dangle him to recoup some draft picks. Probably use another 4th or 5th rounder that year to find a rough around the edges QB with a similar skill set to RG3.

No. Cousins played well but unfortunately they don't play the Browns very often.
