The only subsonic/low noise rounds I have shot from my stock 10/22 has been the CCI 22 CB Longs. They are not powerful enough to cycle the action and effectively make the gun a bolt-action. This cartridge only has an effective accurate range of about 25 yards, but are still fun as hell to shoot because they won't alarm any neighbors. They are about as loud as a car door slamming. I have a .177 air gun that shoots louder.
Does this new CCI Quiet-22 cartridge cycle the semi-auto action?

Tbobby,
I only shot the "Quiet-22" loads in the 77/22. I'd be surprised if they'll cycle the action of a semi-auto. The Shorts and CB 22 Longs won't cycle my 10/22's. I'll try the the "Quiet-22" in the future, but for now I'll just assume they won't work the action.
