quote:I was shocked at the imperfections is my daughter's diamond ring. I have one of those 35X cameras you connect via USB to your PC. I put her diamond under it and WOW! You can't see any of the stuff suspended within the stone with your naked eye, but under magnification, it was really revealing.
You should just buy a CZ and flush the other 90% down the toilet. That way, at least you would have a flawless stone.
I've done the same thing with other diamonds with the same result.
A CZ stone was perfect. No bubbles or spots within it.

That reminds me. There was one noticeable inclusion on the diamond that I picked out, but the clarity on the rest of the diamond was outstanding.
Since the inclusion was out on the edge, they were able to hide it right beneath one of the prongs on the setting. So the clarity that anyone could see was better than what I paid for.
Also, I think from a grading standpoint only imperfections visible at 10x magnification count against the clarity grade- but it's been a while.
