Its pretty heart breaking when you see a dim flashlight off in the distance and it's slowly getting closer to you. You keep telling yourself "it'll go away, they'll veer off to the left or right" but that never happens and they walk right under you. They walk 200 yards past you and set up, later killing something.

I never hunt WMAs for deer but I would bet that the middle of the day is money. I was on one last year bird hunting, 150 yards from a parking area and a doe was standing in the middle of a pipeline feeding, it was late morning. She say us with little concern. A 4 wheeler came by and she popped in the woods. Those deer pattern the hunters...
