I won't discount the existence of truth in the first sentence, but try to remember that Social Security became the law of the land in 1935. Long before any of the boomers were even thought about. To the best of my recollection, I had SS payments forcibly extracted from my paycheck for over 40 years. And yes, I am a boomer and yes, I intend to collect albeit the minimum amount since I am taking it at 62.
