I'm not much of a midnight showing person. I get the hype and everything but I have a real job and would be miserable in the morning. I would rather wait till Friday or Saturday and go watch it then go celebrate and have drinks after.

I hope it crushes the box office and makes the Batman fan boys cry.

I'm turning in my notice at work, and my company's Holiday Luncheon is Friday.

Since I may not be welcome to that festive event, I may go on Friday for one of the early showings.

I have a Santa Pub Crawl that night, so Friday night is out of the question.

If I want to go Friday or Saturday do you think it will be sold out?
I would buy tickets ahead but I don't know what showing I want yet.

Midnight showings are miserable. I promised my friend I would go with him to the Dark Knight Rises midnight showing, and regretted it the entire time. I swore I would never do that again. I do not have that kind of energy. I need and very much enjoy my sleep, and no movie is worth a 2 hour wait in line when I can simply go the next week and not wait at all. I already waited this long for the movie, another week won't kill me.
