HOW THE FRICK DID I MISS THERE WAS AN FF14 THREAD ON THE GB!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!

anyways, I started 14 after they started "fixing" stuff, I was in the beta for the original game and decided I would never play it (I was a hardcore ff11 player) because it was absolutely awful.

Now, that being said, towards the last part of the life cycle, before the servers went off for ARR (the new "reboot) this game was not just playable, it was actually a lot of fun. It still had a lot of bugs in it, but that was because they were working with a completely buggy game engine and servers.. so they worked with what they got, and even though what they were working with was trash, they still made it a lot of fun.

Fun enough that I leveled Warrior, Monk, Paladin and Bard to 50, as well as Goldsmith, Blacksmith, and Carpenter to 50 as well.. all within 6 months.

Also, sic's roomate played in the alpha, I'll get him to comment about it sometime later today, but please come join us blitzed, would be fun! anyone else is welcome as well!

Are you saying it's not fun anymore or do you still like it? How is it with time sink? I remember when 14 was first being advertised they made it sound like leveling wouldn't be a chore like it was in 11.
