What in the hell is RPI?
By adding teams like Tulane, who are terrible in basketball, the basketball-focused schools are going to lose some points in their RPI - so they mad.

Which is a stupid and shortsighted point of view.
Tulane has been good in basketball in the past and has just shown a commitment to its basketball program, which means that we can and will be good again.
Sports teams and programs are not static.
