It's not like Wing can improve his stock.

I agree but I just don't know how high he would be drafted bc his skill set is limited.

Not knowing his financial situation, his decision would be give up celebrity status in BR for a shot at the NFL right now or stay a celebrity and enter the draft in essentially the same spot 2 yrs from now.

The fact that LSU signed another P last yr seems to infer that Wing had made his decision long ago.

ive always heard that if mingo stays montgomery stays..according to an interview they had together...but id have to say that montgomery would almost have to go and mingo would benefit if he stayed one more year...but guess we will see...it would be nice to return our entire defense though

I think I'd be happy with that.

Getting Minter and Logan back are the keys for us IMHO. Anybody else is just lagniappe.

Look at who would be projected on D-line and its obvious our depth would be in doubt and those reserves are all young and inexperienced. Getting Logan back would be huge for talent, depth and experience on that D-line.

Even with all the young talent at LB, having Minter would stablize that LB core and he would become the Captain and Ring Leader of this defense next year. Keeping the middle of next year's defense together is key if we're gonna make a run through that schedule.

If Ford and Ware both go, we suddenly have some depth problems at RB, especially considering Blue is coming off a knee injury. We're signing none this year so there will be no room for injury.

Why would Wing go pro? He isn't even the best punter in college. Maybe top 5, but I dont see any other punters going pro early.

I'd think he'd improve his draft stock with better performance next year. Draft stock on punters has a ceiling, but I think a better year would make him more money.

Isn't McGee a WR now? Obviously he can move back if depth requires it, but he will be a JR and has barely played as a RB.

Hill
Hilliard
Blue
Mcgee

Should be more than enough. It already seems like some of the backs were underused because of too much depth. Maybe Lamar Louis would be moved to RB in case of an emergency.

Yea, I don't think it will be difficult for him to relearn how to run with a ball since he had been doing it for years.

He was awesome in what little he played two years ago.

I agree..he didn't have a bad year, per se, but it wasn't anything to get him in the first round of the draft. That neck injury really hampered his progress IMO

Ridiculous. Hill could likely carry the majority of the load spelled by Hilliard and Blue. It's the exception to be 5 deep at RB, not the rule. Both those guys have been solid contributors and would likely continue to help the team if they returned, but perhaps to a diminished capacity.

I heard Wing is considering leaving because we will not have to punt next year. Straight up score on every drive.
