Honestly I can't blame any of them for wanting to go. Why stay in college for a year when you could go make bank now to do the same thing?

I qualify 250K (which almost never happens) as bank btw.

I guess Wing would have to really want out of school to try and turn pro now.

Not unless he got a grade back similar to Bryan Anger's last year. If that's the case, given his hamstring problem last year, and knowing that as a Punter, his grade won't get much higher, it isn't all that crazy.

I still think (and hope) he stays, though.

Well is it worth 3 to 5 million to stay? Sure it is. You move from 3rd round to 1st and that is what happens, maybe more. Just buy some good insurance.

You are right, but you can just as easily move down.

As a poor college student, I can see where they're coming from. If I had the option of getting 1 million now or 3 million in a year (where I could potentially get hurt and never get any big money), I would pick the 1 now.

Minter will not move down. That is the one who could move from 3rd to 1st. He is also most likely to decide to leave than any other player. Logan is in his ear to stay from what I heard.

Wing is a virtual lock to leave. He does not exactly love school, and the league already knows how good he is despite a relative off year (which was still pretty damn good by anyone else's standards--finished #8 nationally in net punting, despite losing his snapper and two stud gunners). He is unlikely to improve his stock by coming back; as a punter he kind of is what he is already. May as well start earning that paper ASAP. I have seen where some scout said he might go as high as 3rd-4th round.

I believe the coaches have been expecting this for a while, and that's why we brought in a 23-year-old Aussie last year, to be ready when Wing left.

Juice, did you seriously photoshop toonces onto Elisha Cuthbert? I don't get why people on here photoshop LSU logos/colors onto hot chicks. What's the point? You're not fooling anyone. She is obviously not an LSU fan. Hot, yes. LSU fan, no. Then you give her the crappy LSU logo to boot. You could at least given her the eye, or the geaux font or something.

Hmmm Simon said last week he was not happy about not being all sec and he would be on it next year. This is before he sees his low draft stock. Him and Logan are most likely to return.

Every DB shows an inability to cover simple routes At times.

What is a simple route, BTW?

FYI, if two men of equal ability are trying to cover each other man-to-man the offensive guy will win about 80% of the battles.

Graytiger, that's weak! "I lost my deep snapper. What was I to do?"

I agree, though, that Wing will be evaluated on talent and potential rather than a few bad kicks.
