sprained LCL, day to day. Wouldn't be against resting him against the Browns as an active back up in case the Skins really need him. It's supposed to be bad weather this weekend in Cleveland, don't want RG3 slipping on that wet grass.

All speculation at this point. I do not see a confirmation anywhere...

CBSDFW.com has been reporting it since like 4:30 that he will in fact miss the rest of the season. I have like 200 text messages from all the Cowboys websites etc. it shouldn't be that hard to find a link if you're looking for one.

I agree with you. It's very feasible he could get hurt way worse in the land of the heartless. They can probably afford to take a chance in losing vs Cleveland if they can win the final 2, and especially against us in the last week.

Yeah gonna need him big time vs the Cowboys. Eagles scare me a little now that Bryce Brown is going ham.

OK brah. I hope all of the 7 million things I had going off on my phone were wrong.

I also hope the yahoo fantasy league injury notes are wrong too.

PFT, Florios site, says may be out. Has to have a test to see if ligament is torn and needing surgery.

Bad news for Dez. Finally putting it together on field.

it's a terrible feeling knowing our best guy now is Miles Austin. And who knows if he'll even be healthy by the end of the Pittsburgh game. Dez has been a huge frick up at times, but even knowing how retarded he can sometimes be, when you're down by like 17 early in the 4th and he's on the field, you always feel like you still have a chance.

with our defense having so many holes, our only hope riding out these last 3 weeks was gonna be a super potent offense. At least lately Pittsburgh and the Saints have been finding ways to lose a lot like we do. But I seriously doubt we'll win all of our last 3, especially against Washington in the final week.

This is one of my teams that somehow made it into the playoffs with other players as well.

McFadden
McCoy
Dez
Big Ben
A. Hernandez
Jordy Nelson

And Julio who has been injured off and on all year.

Absurd.

Had the bolded guys too. I was really looking fwd to riding Dez through the playoffs. But for my RB troubles, I made some very lucky moves just in time, all season to keep me afloat. I also had McGahee and Demarco Murray. I haven't had one week all season where I was safe at RB and I still miraculously made it to the playoffs and did very well yesterday. D-Murray and Knowshon Moreno were huge for me this week.

Nothing is official yet. He is going to see a specialist to see if he can do any further damage to his finger.

quote:

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett told DallasCowboys.com Monday that Dez Bryant (finger) is "50:50" to play again this season.

quote:

Despite previous reports, Cowboys.com writer Nick Eatman says his "gut" is Bryant will not be placed on injured reserve, but the team won't know for sure until results come back from Dez's visit to a hand specialist. Eatman does concede that Dez "could be out of the rest of the season," if the hand specialist determines Bryant needs year-ending surgery to repair the torn finger ligaments. Garrett will speak to reporters later today.

OK.

Bryant (finger) will miss the rest of the season, CBSDFW.com's Richie Whitt reports.

Everything sounds like they are trying to remain as positive as possible, but it would be a huge miracle if he were to not go on the IR. Again, I'd love to be wrong. I'm not sensing much hope from anyone in the Dallas organization. I think a few Doctors already told him he'll need the surgery and they are just seeking that last opinion tomorrow.

It must be serious if he's passing up a chance to have his way with the Saint's secondary.
