Sorry Kills, but some of that stuff has a techno vibe to it. Not my style of listening. Not knocking it, just aint me.......
But! Angus Stone. Not bad. Seems heavily influenced by Dylan, at least the singing approach. I only listened to some of "Only a Women"

Mogray....couldn't get past E.T. Ancient Echoes. But Diamond rugs was freakin awsome! Great grooves in those songs! May have to add to the list. Kinda reminded me of Flogging Molly alittle. So did Middle Brother.

I have an insanely huge music library with an extremely wide variety that ranges from Tool to Tori Amos.
I'm a mood guy. I have music for any mood or life experience. My music playlist is the soundtrack to my life.
Right now I'm going thru an electronic 80s redux phase. It's fun and pimp. Perhaps not hardcore...but pimp.

I'm sure that won't impress some of you, but it's what I've been listening to lately so I don't care. I play the piano and sing, and I like things I can sing along with when I'm by myself. 
Plus - I'm a Christmas fool, and I readily admit this. Starting with Adam Sandler's "Thanksgiving Song" and ending with "What Are You Doing New Year's Eve."

LOL! I didn't want to say it but the first thing that jumped in my head was 80's RatPack gang kinda music. I didn't want to be I guess insulting with the 80's tie. Some take offense.
Tool eh? Like me some Tool. Danny Carey is one of my favorite drummers.

Man, I missed a lot... haven't been by the computer.
Kills I listened to some of those right when you started the thread.
At first I thought Van She was that crazy lookin Jamaican women at the start of the video.. but it turned out pretty good. Then I listened to Ghosts, okay too.. that's why I was sure to add Washed Out and Impala to my list, kind of fits into that sound, thought you might like it.
Agnus Stone was a pleasant surprise. Hearty sound. Have taken a liking to Wooden Chair.
Jafo, I feel bad I put you threw Eternal Tapestry.. it's a time and place kind of thing even for me, so I could imagine how that might sound to new ears. Part of my adding that is I just found them last week and thought they'd fit with where's kills head was at.
Seeing your taste and what you liked of mine, I think I got some stuff you'd like. I don't play vids anymore, but I see Thousand Foot Krutch is in NHL '13.. they used to have pretty good taste in what they put on there.

If I had to choose my favorite decade of music, it would most definitely be late 50s thru early 60s Doo Wop. When my wife and I are boating on Table Rock Lake, road tripping, canoeing, skiing, etc, this is what we listen to when sipping drinks and soaking in the fun and sun.

Kills that is awesome.
Buddy Holly is in my recently played on itunes. I almost put Not Fade Away on my list.
I listen to a radio show most Wednesday nights, the singer from my favorite band hosts it.. you'd like it I think. It's not like any radio show I've listened to, there is like a plot to it with characters. He plays a lot of stuff from the 30s through today.

John McCauley (who gets praised as the most legit true rock n roller out there right now, he's from the old days) is behind both of those bands you mentioned, and Deer Tick is his original baby. The past 3-4 years there really isn't anyone who has contributed to rock as much as John.
