No, we're sitting in holding pattern waiting to see what the AD does next. I think he wanted to wind this up this week.

Too bad NWSt isn't as good at hiring football coaches as they are at hiring baseball coaches. They're fricking money at hiring baseball coaches.

The guy they need to hire is an hour south at Louisiana College. It's a no brainer. They need to wake up and smell reality. Dunn would do a good job at NSU.

Your brother must have lied to you then because that's not the case. He has kept his nose clean at LC.

Dunn in Natchitoches would be like trying to jam a square peg into a round hole. He and Natchitoches aren't for each other. Given his history, I have a lot of questions about his character.

What is his history? That he was accused of having sexual relations with a trashy high school girl from Marhsall, TX? The charges were dropped. He was never convicted of anything.

A head football coach should avoid the appearance of impropriety.
If he can't then any school hiring him has to accept the risk of all the crap he may bring and publicity that will follow.
Holy hill provided him an incredible out and he hasn't gotten even a sniff of interest from another job.
What does that tell you?

If they hire Dennis Dunn, NSU will not get a single penny from me.

Why is Dunn so bad? He's been around the Cen-la area and he atleast has head coaching experience and wins. We all thought Peveto was going to turn it around and he did worse than Stoker. I am not campaigning for him but I just wonder why he wouldn't get the support. I personally would like to see the Texas Tech interim head coach Thomsen hired. He built up Abilene Christian and experience at D-1 level. He is also an offensive line coach and that has been a weakness for NSU for awhile.

Doubt he would want to take a $150,000 pay-cut.

Plus, on this linked forum, NSU fans are just idiots... LINK
