Watched Rummel play a decent amount. They can't play with Curtis this year. Rummel struggled with Mandeville they would get hammered by Curtis. Curtis is a recruited team of college freshman type players.

Rummel was a play or 2 away from beating Mandy by 3-4 TDs. Refs helped out Mandy kept them in the game

The same could be said about the refs keeping Evangel in the state championship game. There was a lot of awful officiating against John Curtis in that game.

funny how this thread escalated, then got friendly again. I do remember us (Jesuit) going to a practice at Curtis back in 97 or 98. It was situational drills, not really a scrimmage, but it was a cool experience.

I did play at Cleary. I also remember Lambert taking a cheap shot at me during the Jamboree. Did we play on the same team or just against each other?

I also played on a Cleary team with Jeff Lambert, but that was back on the 9-10 yr old team. Never could make weight limit for the traveling teams.

Same team. I played strong guard on the minors and juniors teams.
I played all other sports too. I think we were on the same intramural baseball team at some point as well.
