The defense hasn't put together a consistant game all year. That includes the past three games.
Brees' ints didn't help, but they were only minor problems compared to the defense.
The offense line up every series thinking that they have to score each time, because they can't rely on the defense to stop anyone. With that much pressure then I can see why Drew makes more passes that are risky than what he has done in the past. I hate what has happened to Brees in the last few games, but it happens. The defense has sucked all year long

well the special teams sucked arse today too. Throw in 4 turnovers to boot and you have a real cluster frick.
the defense wasn't very good but they shouldn't take the brunt of the loss either.

My bad Hoodoo. They only gave up 45 points.
BEST DEFENSE IN THE LEAGUE! Championship! We're the new Steel curtain in the NFL. The offense just needs to take care of the ball and this defense will carry us. I just hope a team doesn't make Spags a head coach this offseason. I can't believe we don't have more defensive players in the pro bowl.
Sorry Hoodoo. I went a little overboard, but this defense isn't good and got sliced up by a good offense today.

I'm sorry the defense couldn't shut out Eli Manning when he was snapped the ball on our 40 every 3 minutes.
I'm sorry Brees has the learning capability of a 3-year-old and makes the same mistakes every game.
I'm sorry our special teams are just so fricking nice they broke a record for the Giants today.
I'm sorry our offense gained more yards than the Giants but came away with slightly more than half the points.

The whole team sucked today. Our only bright spot was the running game (sort of). But the defense didn't play well. I will say though, that Manning made some really great theows that a good defense would have been burned on. That being said, there was no pass rush and we dropped interceptions blew coverage assignments, had Gallette on a sprinter and missed tackles on defense as well. It doesn't help that Carmichel went full retard today. 3rd and 1 toss play. Is this Tecmo Bowl with Bo Jackson? No? Then don't run that play dumbass!
