 to anyone who hasn't ever gotten a ticket. I've had some state troopers let me go with a warning, but when I drive home to Arkansas, I go through many small towns in Louisiana where the police don't seem to be as forgiving. The worst I've ever experienced is in Sicily Island, LA. I think I had a six year streak going of being issued a traffic ticket for one reason or another. One Thanksgiving, I actually told a cop there that he was wrong about my speed (he was), so he backed off the speeding ticket and gave me a warning for a Pilgrim mylar balloon I had for my son that he said was possibly blocking my vision. I laughed out loud.

Unless there is a 5 MPH error rate, I am not sure what your defense would be. You were technically going over the speed limit.

Bull shite he did an fsb just because of a grease stain.
You were speeding and had booze on your breath but passed a fsb so the guy gave you a speeding ticket
Doesnt sound like he was the dick to me

Wrong.
Breathalyzers are used in la only if you fail an fsb and are arrested for dui. Or of course if you dont consent to the fsb.
Sometime ago i posted a link to a dui defense attorneys website and that is what he wrote.
The cop had more of a reason ro conduct an fsb than a grease stain even if he ultimately passed said fsb. Thats a fact.
My existence has nothing to do with this board. I just think all the lying and blaming others for your actions is hilarious.
Yes a ticket for 5 over is lame but if they let that slide soon people would be insisting that it was only 10 over and so on and so forth

Got a 30 (maybe even 29 [can't remember anymore]} in a 25 as a teenager while cutting through Zion City near Scotlandville.
Breaks were cut neither that day nor in court.

I don't excessively speed, but almost everyone I know regularly goes 50 in a 45, 60 in a 55 and 75-80 in a 70. I thought this was pretty common everywhere, but maybe in less urban/suburban areas it isn't.
