Thinking about seeing Mondo Generator on Christmas Eve but probably won't go. I'll see KMFDM in March and Nile in April.

How on earth would that be a crappy show? I've been waiting my whole life to see Fleetwood Mac! And yes, Stevie will be there.

Oh yeah, and I'm going to see the Dirty River Boys on NYE.

Having Stevie there makes it cool. But it's still Fleetwood Mac. nothing more than an average 70s-80s pop band. Like Journey, Styx, Def Leopard.......

More of the local NO scene for me - just saw John Boutte at dba this evening. That man is Sam Cooke incarnate. Headed back out in a few to go catch Eric Lindell at Blue Nile. Going to Dr John on Dec 30 at HOB.

Right on. The local scene in most good size cities is fantastic and under appreciated. I've seen so many great local bands that are better than any national act that its sad they don't make it big.

See, I would NEVER waste my time seeing Journey or Styx, because they are not Journey and Styx without Steve Perry and Dennis DeYoung, respectively. But FM will have everyone I love except Christine so I think it will be amazing.
