LSU will benefit from A&M in the SEC, east Texas will become SEC country. The players (that didn't want to stay in Texas) that used to go to Oklahoma and Nebraska will now be going to LSU, Arkansas and Alabama.

A&M will get a leg up on UT with instate recruiting and the SEC (primarily LSU) will cut into BigXII recruiting. With respect to recruiting, this will be mutually beneficial. LSU will lose to recruiting battles the A&M that never would have happened before the move, but as a whole it will be better for LSU.

Agree with the guys that are saying it will only help us. Sure on the face it will seem as though it hurts because of the kids TAM will get but those are case by case situations. A lot of the kids they'll get are kids that we were either never going to get or didn't want. Sure they'll beat us for some kids but overall the visibility and more importantly the opening up of kids to other options besides the Longhorns can only help us. TAM being more visible and a viable option to those kids that normally would be Longhorn locks, opens them up to be available for other schools to pounce on them and that means they're more open to us. All we have to do is take care of business on the field and the recruiting part will take care of itself.
